Leave No Trace Ireland Win Good Governance Award!

Leave No Trace Ireland are delighted to share that last Thursday night 16th November, we won the Annual Report Award in Category 4 of the Good Governance Awards 2023!

On winning the award, it was said that the judges appreciated the quality of storytelling in the report: “It was easy to trace a line from the organisation’s purpose through its strategic objectives to its achievements in 2022. The governance arrangement was also described very well and all this accessible content was paired with an attractive design. Anyone reading this report, be they a member of the public, a donor or funder, would have a clear picture of the purpose of the organisation and how it is delivered.”

Leave No Trace Ireland CEO Maura Kiely was in attendance for the awards night, and shared that:

We are thrilled to share that Leave No Trace Ireland has been awarded the Good Governance Award. This recognition highlights  the importance of safeguarding our natural environment. It reinforces our commitment to inspiring a future where environmental stewardship is paramount for the well-being of our outdoor spaces and future generations to come.
