To meet the needs of educators working with our youth, Leave No Trace Ireland, in collaboration with the Department of Community and Rural Development created an outdoor ethics curriculum specifically for young audiences. The Leave No Trace Ireland schools programme is a curriculum intended to promote sustainable use of the Irish countryside. It is based on the seven principles of Leave No Trace.

This interactive, downloadable resource is a great way for young people to learn about Leave No Trace Ireland.
Lessons are designed to be interactive and are a fun way to teach and learn about how to behave in the outdoors. All lesson plans are linked to the primary level curriculum in the Republic of Ireland and offer teachers original and effective models for achieving learning objectives.
We offer additional primary school programmes delivered across Ireland by our qualified Leave No trace Trainers. Our Trainers are dedicated to delivering fun and interactive outdoor education to primary school groups, promoting sustainable use of the Irish environment based on our seven principles.
