Welcome to the North Bull Island nature reserve, nestled in the bustling Dublin city. This wonderful coastal area is designated a nature reserve, special protection area, special area of conservation and UNESCO Biosphere reserve and is visited by many people every year. Visits to the site, like many other outdoor spaces, increased dramatically during the pandemic. This along with other factors, has unfortunately led to several negative impacts affecting the area. The vast majority of visitors love Bull Island and would happily protect and celebrate this incredible outdoor space.
