POSTPONED: Leave No Trace on the Seashore for ages 16+ – Group 1
BERTRA BEACH WORLD SAND DUNE DAY EVENT – POSTPONED DUE TO YELLOW WEATHER WARNING
We are disappointed to announce that due to adverse weather conditions forecast for Saturday June 25th, we have taken the decision to postpone the family event on Bertra Beach for World Sand Dune Day to ensure safety of our participants. We apologize for any disappointment caused.
Leave No Trace Ireland, Bertra Connected and Helly Hansen are celebrating World Sand Dune Day by heading to Bertra Beach to learn more about our coast and how to protect it.
This fun-filled Family Day Out will have something for everyone, from Seashore Safaris, Competitions, refreshments and Leave No Trace workshops.
Leave No Trace on the Seashore for ages 16+ (2pm – 3pm):
Padraic and Ed will be providing workshops on how we can apply our Leave No Trace principles to Bertra Beach and how we can protect the beach’s vulnerable sand dunes. Perfect for local residents, community groups, decision-makers, and those with an interest to learn more about marine conservation.
