Cormac started his outdoor life from being a Beaver Scout at the age of 6, he then moved through the sections all the way up to where he is now a Scouter in West Belfast. He is an active hillwalker as well as a climber and a paddler as well as volunteering as a scout leader Cormac is also a member of the Mountain Rescue Team in which covers the majority of Northern Ireland. He started his outdoor career in Tollymore National Outdoor Centre where he did a year long Instructor Development Scheme where he gained his Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, Paddlesport Instructor and many more qualifications allowing him to work in all types of outdoor environments.
