Outdoor Activity Event Guidelines for Ireland in 2024
Recently Failte Ireland updated their guidelines and resources for Festivals and Events. The Fáilte Ireland Festivals and Events division is dedicated to supporting the development of brilliant visitor experiences in Ireland by creating and promoting a selection of world class festivals that support the social and economic contribution of tourism to Ireland.

Sustainable Festival Guidelines
The following set of guidelines was created following an industry consultation with more than 80 of Ireland’s festivals of varying size and scope. The results of the survey showed that Ireland’s festivals have started to investigate more sustainable practices, have started to make changes in production, and are seeking to reduce their environmental impacts.
