Go Green Project Update: Erasmus+ Exchange in Westport

During March we were thrilled to host the first Go Green Erasmus Exchange in Westport.
The two-day event saw the launch of the first Go Green Erasmus Exchange. The aim of this project is create a toolkit for the education of local decision-makers, public officers and consultants on how to improve their environmental performance, and align with EU Green Deal targets.
During the two days work started on distilling down the relevant topics in environmental local governance. Some of the primary areas of research are water; waste; land use planning; biodiversity protection; communication; and social mobilisation.
Our thanks to Cllr Peter Flynn for joining us on our first day!
