Maire Shanahan, Certified Leave No Trace Advanced Trainer with Leave No Trace Ireland will host this online webinar and talk about eco picnics and offer tips for having a plastic free low waste picnic.

The Green Picnic will be run over the summer months by Waterford City & County Council and Wexford County Council. The Green Picnic campaign asks people to bring their litter home with them and bring reusable items wherever possible. We aim to promote positive and active participation in a campaign that will focus on the theme of reuse and encourage all to take responsibility for their actions and their waste.
