Updates from the Nature Animation Course 2022

After having now finished the first semester exams, the students of the ‘Certificate in Nature Animation course’ are about to begin their work-based learning later this month. In the previous weeks, the group took on new skills in communication and wildlife, knowledge that will prove very useful when they begin their placements.

Talking to Ed Aylward, this year’s Class Representative, “everyone’s really excited to begin working in all these beautiful places. For many this will be their first experience working this close to conservation and the visitor experience. We’re all looking forward to it!” Ed will start his work-based learning in Wild Nephin National Park in the coming days.

We’re wishing all the students the best of luck as they start their placements all around the country for the summer! We know how hard they have been working, and cannot wait to see what amazing aspects of the Irish environments and wildlife they experience these coming months.
