Local Clean Up within the travel limits advised by the Govenrment and HSE – 5KM

This year for World Environment Day we are asking families and individuals to take part in a clean up of of their own local area – within 5km of their home. We want our volunteers to stay safe while taking part in our initiatives and so, here are some guidelines to follow if you decide to get involved, to make sure you protect yourself and others in your community:

• Please observe social distancing and stay 2 metres apart from other people.
  Do not pick used PPE or gloves.
  Use your own gloves and wash immediatley afterwards.
  Do not share litter-pickers.
  Take rubbish home to your own bins or arrange collection in advance with your local authority.
  Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer immediatley on your return home.
  Avoid touching your face while out.
