Regional Trainer Meet-up – Glenveagh National Park

Introduction
The Regional Trainer Meet-up is a chance for trainers to come together and meet face to face for a well-paced day at Glenveagh National Park in Donegal, filled with engaging discussions, lively practical sessions, and networking opportunities. The meet-up will take place outdoors and will encourage trainers to share a skill and/or activity with one another that helps us all in our outdoor education. This will also provide a forum to discuss what we can do at Leave No Trace to help you as a trainer.
We’ll also be able to provide any Leave No Trace materials you may need as a trainer. If you do need any resources, please let us know by no later than May 21st.

Skill/Activity Swap
During this session, each trainer will be encouraged to share an outdoor skill/activity/story or piece of knowledge with the rest of the group. This will allow the group to provide feedback on the given activity while also increasing all participants knowledge and skills in teaching responsible outdoor recreation and the seven principles of Leave No Trace.
- These swaps can be anything from 5 – 20 minutes long depending on what suits you best.
