Launch of New Leave No Trace Training Network
At Leave No Trace Ireland we believe in investing in our qualified trainers and training centres. This is why we have launched a new training network which aims to engage with Leave No Trace trainers and training centres creating opportunities to network, engage with other practitioners, collaborate on projects and programmes and learn from a new exciting Leave No Trace annual CPD programme.
Leave No Trace Ireland’s Outdoor Ethics Education Programme is designed to promote and inspire responsible outdoor recreation through education, research and partnerships. Covid-19 has highlighted how increasing numbers of people seek the beauty and exhilaration of the outdoors, and with the increase in visitors, our collective mark on the environment and its natural processes also increases. A key component of Leave No Trace Ireland’s strategy is to ensure our network of qualified trainers are supported and have the latest research and educational resources to deliver the organisation’s skills and ethics programme.
Join us online for the official launch of this network when we will be joined by Richard Louv, international award-winning author. Richard’s books have helped launch an international movement to connect children, families and communities to nature. He speaks internationally on nature-deficit disorder and on the need for environmental protection and preservation for greater access to nature and the health of the Earth.
Attendance is free to Accredited Trainer & Training Centres but Registration is essential.
