Following the easing of restrictions, we are delighted to announce that the Leave No Trace training programme has restarted in Northern Ireland.
On Tuesday 25th May, 10 participants completed a Leave No Trace awareness session with Dawn Patterson from Ulster Wildlife. The group was made up of Ulster Wildlife Trainees and European volunteers who are with Ulster Wildlife for one year. The group enjoyed a beautiful day in the city setting of the Bog Meadows nature reserve, prompting some great conversations around the ethics of Leave No Trace.
We have several courses coming up over the next few months. All which have been added to our training calendar:
- Certified Awareness Course – Clandeboye, Bangor NI – 29th June
- Trainer Course – Clandeboye, Bangor NI – 16th – 17th July
- Certified Awareness Course – Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust – 1st October 2021
- Trainer Course – Clandeboye, Bangor NI – 23rd-24th October 2021
More dates will added in the coming weeks.
