Myles Kelly has worked in Inland Fisheries since 1996 when he began his career with the ESB. In 1998 Myles joined the Central Fisheries Board (CFB) where he worked on the Western Lakes Programme.
He went on to work on the Shannon-Erne Waterway project in 1999. In 2000, he proposed and subsequently project managed the development of the CFB website. Myles was nominated to the Board of the CFB in 2005 as the Staff Representative for a 5-year term. He has worked on a variety of projects for the CFB and Inland Fisheries Ireland in the education and outreach area including Something Fishy, Fisheries Awareness Week, Angling for Youth Development.
Myles has illustrated a number of books and other publications and written articles for angling magazines. He is a qualified fly-casting instructor, angling coach and angling coach tutor. Myles Kelly is currently employed as the Communications manager for Inland Fisheries Ireland.
