Maureen has been in love with the outdoor life since childhood, brought up hiking, camping, kayaking and swimming outdoors. In her career as a swimming teacher and coach she has worked with a wide range of abilities and now specialises in open water swim safety awareness and training.
Along with Paul McCambridge, Maureen is author of the book Wild Swimming in Ireland, Collins Press 2016.
Maureen wants to help promote the sustainable and responsible use of our outdoor spaces.
