Mark is owner of Field Studies Ireland, a social enterprise, on a mission to provide high quality Outdoor Education across the Island of Ireland.
Mark O’Connor has been delivering Outdoor Education across the Island of Ireland for over a decade, and can often be found immersed in a woodland or submerged in the ocean. Mark’s teaching style is very much participant led, empowering learners to follow their curiosities and learn through discovery and enjoyment. As a Leave No Trace Advanced Trainer, Mark regularly engages with members through awareness and trainer courses, and enjoys discovering new ways to use the outdoors responsibly.
