Since childhood, Gillian has always had a keen interest in nature and the natural world around her. No walk or hike is complete without observing the wild flowers, mushrooms and local history along the route. She is a professional tour guide and these interests have led her to obtain her mountain skills, lowland leader and Leave No Trace awards.
Gillian believes the Leave No Trace principles are essential in creating and maintaining sustainable outdoor activities which are so important in these difficult times.
