Gillian has worked in the DSPCA for over 20 years and is the Head of Education and Media. She strongly believes that educating people, both children and adults in responsible pet care and respect for all living things will be the solution to animal welfare issues in Ireland.
She has a keen interest in nature, foraging and is particularly fond of bees, bumble bees and the humble snail. She is also an avid photographer.
Gillian is married and has 2 children and as a family are regularly found outside enjoying nature. Gillian has recently completed her Leave No Trace Trainer Certification.
