Gavin Beetlestone is a holder of an M.A. from the University of Worcester and a B.A. from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in Outdoor Education, giving him varied and vast knowledge of the pedagogy.

With more than 10 years’ experience leading participants through various disciplines of Outdoor Education, Gavin has been able to observe first-hand the impact and the role the environment plays in outdoor education across the world. It is for this reason he asserts a high level of responsibility to the outdoor environment and recognises the need for preserving this unique quality for future generations of Irish outdoor enthusiasts. After a number of years at Senior Level Management with Outward Bound Hong Kong, he returned to Ireland in early 2018 with a focus on outcome orientated outdoor programming. Gavin is a Leave No Trace Advanced Trainer, working on schools, training and corporate programs for the organisation.
