The Burren Outdoor Education and Training Centre is a purpose built residential centre located in the heart of the Burren and only a few minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way. They provide high quality outdoor and adventure activities to people of all ages but especially to those in the education and youth sectors. Burren OETC is run under the aegis of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board and is approved by the Department of Education and Skills.
Their programmes and activities provide rich, memorable and enjoyable outdoor experiences to a variety of learning outcomes. These include developing an active and healthy lifestyle, developing an interest in nature and the outdoors and developing an awareness and understanding of well-being and teamwork.
They offer a wide range of activities on a residential and non-residential basis. They provide a warm welcome, quality home cooked food and a dedicated, enthusiastic and professional staff team all of whom are qualified to the highest levels and have over 30 years’ experience in safely bringing people into the Burren.
As well as being a Leave No Trace Accredited Training Centre, the centre is an education partner of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Gepoark.
