The new format again follows an all-island initiative, and Calor is looking for your help in the search for the ‘Calor Sustainable Community Champion 2014’.

The competition is open for entries from July 29th for members of the public to ‘nominate their local candidate or group’, The closing date for entries on September 5th. Individuals and communities across the island will be asked to lead the charge and put in place environmentally sustainable projects and initatives over the 6-week period. The final 32 local champions or groups will be chosen and presented on the competition page on September 15th. Voting open to the public until October 9th. Our panel of judges will chose from the top four as voted by the public and two ‘wildcard’ entries, with the inaugural Calor Sustainable Community Champion announced on October 17th.
