This week Leave No Trace were joined by staff from Google and partnered with community group Dodder Valley Litter Mugs for a CSR day. Staff were introduced to the principles and ethics of Leave No Trace while engaging in team-building activities. The staff then got involved in a clean up in Tallaght Village. The activities of the day were of mutual benefit to the volunteers and the local community with Google staff members reporting they felt a great sense of purpose throughout the day, and really enjoyed the increased awareness of the need to protect the environment. Many of the volunteers mentioned the increased sense of camaraderie amongst the group and enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate on a project outside of work.
