Leave No Trace Ireland Launches New Training Resources

Leave No Trace Ireland Launches New Training Resources

Leave No Trace Ireland is delighted to announce that we are releasing new training resources.

Leave No Trace is an international ethos and outdoor ethics framework, uniting countries and cultures through the joint belief in the importance of responsible outdoor recreation. Resources have been shared and developed throughout the years to spread this message. However, the resources we’re launching now have an important layer to them. These resources have been written and adapted specifically to apply to teaching the principles of Leave No Trace in an Irish context.

Focusing on our new Leave No Trace Trainer Manual, this book is the quintessential guide for all Leave No Trace trainers working out of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Teaching practices, techniques and theories have been researched to take into account our different climates, weather systems, habitats, and ecosystems, so that what we are teaching and discussing as Leave No Trace Trainers has direct links to the island we call home.
