To celebrate National Heritage Week Leave No Trace have teamed up with Waterways Ireland to bring you a new educational video. This time we are exploring the River Shannon and learning how to identify and protect its unique waterway heritage and promote its sustainable use for the enjoyment of this and future generations.
With this video we hope to highlight the biodiversity that inhabits Ireland’s waterways, how fragile these ecosystems can be and how the community can take positive actions to protect and preserve their natural and cultural heritage.
