Nine out of ten people who visit the outdoors are uninformed about Leave No Trace and how they can minimise their impacts.

Leave No Trace helps people understand how their decisions and actions affect the outdoor environment, builds knowledge and skills necessary to address complex environmental issues, as well as ways we can take action to keep our environment healthy and sustainable for the future.

Taking part in a Leave No Trace Awareness Course empowers people to share their voice and make a difference in their communities.
Leave No Trace helps build environmental knowledge and minimum impact skills.

On Saturday 31st August, 6 participants completed the LEvel 1 training, the Certified awareness Course in Mulranny, Co Mayo. At the core of this training course are the 7 principles of Leave No Trace. However, the information provided can be easily adapted for specific audiences, environments or recreational needs. Participants are now eligible to take part in the next level of training the 2-day trainer course.

IF you are interested in taking a course, our next course is on Sept 28th in The Burren Nature Sanctuary, Kinvara, Co Galway. To book your place
