Last week, we were delighted to welcome over 60 members of staff from Verizon on a webinar that introduced Leave No Trace and provided the group with tips on how to reduce their impact in the outdoors. Leave No Trace Ireland raises awareness with employees around protecting our environment and responsible outdoor recreation.
The webinar covered:
- Learning about outdoor ethics and educating employees about protecting the environment
- Connecting employees with nature and learning about sustainability
- Education around biodiversity
Participants were encouraged to personally commit to taking action in their local area after the webinar.
Even with the current public heath restrictions, companies have enormous potential with Leave No Trace Ireland to create a positive impact and help protect the environment. Our Corporate Volunteering Programme is a great opportunity to make a tangible and immediate improvement to the outdoor environment.
