Butterflies are under threat in Ireland and across Europe from land use change, the intensification of agriculture and climate change. We need your help to gather accurate information on how their populations are changing, both in the number of butterflies and how species are distributed in the Irish landscape. By having accurate data, we help conserve butterflies and respect wildlife in Ireland. By learning to identify butterflies and sending records to the National Biodiversity Data Centre, we can learn more about our local biodiversity.

Adopting the Leave No Trace Principles into your life can make that all important difference to minimising your impact on the biodiversity surrounding you. Learn more by taking our amazing new interactive course here. Make sure to get in touch with us and let us know how it goes.
