CONNECT WITH NATURE TODAY AT THE BIODIVERSITY VILLAGE, BATTLE OF THE BAY TO INSPIRE A POSITIVE FUTURE 

Dublin City Council Biodiversity presents the Biodiversity Village celebrating Biodiversity (variety of life on earth) in Dublin and the recognition that Dolly mount is situated in the UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere. Biospheres are places which are internationally recognised for their biodiversity value and are managed in a way to promote a balanced relationship between people and nature. Join a host of scientists, conservation volunteers and nature lovers to help you appreciate your special natural surroundings during the Kite surfing event.   Free Information to take home on wildlife, how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, the wonders of the oceans and site guides for North Bull Island will be available.  

Be inspired by “Leave no Trace” to enjoy the outdoors responsibly as you surf the waves and play on the beach. Visit their outdoor classroom and learn from expert trainers on  responsible camping, walking dogs, disposing of waste when you have no bins, being around wildlife, walking on trails and keeping safe in the great outdoors.   Learn about how long it takes for litter to break down and the impact that has on  nature. Participate in games, competitions and get a Leave no Trace certificate to proudly show your friends that you are a ” Kite Surfing Dublin Bay Biosphere Champion”
