Fantastic work was done today by over 100 staff from Fidelity in 2 locations as part of their 'Fidelity Cares 2019' initiative. Over 60 staff gathered this morning in Merlin Woods, Galway, where they enjoyed team building activities while carrying out a major clean-up of the area. The staff worked hard all morning and made an immediate impact on the environment in the woods. This work was a collaborative effort with Fidelity staff, Friends of Merlin Woods and Galway City Council facilitated by Leave No Trace Ireland.
In the east of the country, even the inclement weather did not deter almost 50 staff of Fidelity who met at Slievethoul in the Dublin Mountains to carry out a walk on the loop trail there and clean some litter black spots. The local community there carry out regular litter picks and really appreciate the effort of this group in making a tangible difference in their local forest. Thanks to the Dublin Mountain Partnership, Coillte and PURE who assisted Leave No Trace with the logistics.
The Leave No Trace corporate volunteering programme is a great opportunity for companies to make a tangible difference. If you are interested in volunteering, please email email@example.com
