Deloitte Ireland makes a positive Impact on the Environment

Today 5th September 2019 Leave No Trace facilitators were joined by 120 volunteers from Deloitte Ireland as part of the Deloitte Impact Day activities. Volunteers worked with Chapelizod Tidy Towns, Bray Tidy Towns and Bray Coast Care and Dublin Mountains Partnership, PURE, Coillte and Wicklow Tourism and the Eco Trail on the various projects.

Conservation is rapidly rising up the corporate and public policy agenda as there is an increased understanding of both the moral imperative and business case for protecting our natural environment. What if everyone who visited Ireland’s outdoors had the opportunity to do more than just visit but to help protect this shared outdoor space? That’s the goal of a bold multi-year initiative of Leave No Trace Ireland that focuses on offering educational opportunities to Corporates where it matters most - in Ireland’s outdoors. This powerful education initiative engages corporate staff in outdoor settings to develop their
understanding of Ireland’s outdoor spaces and teach the skills needed for responsible recreation. It gives back to local communities helping to protect our shared spaces.
