To meet the needs of educators working with our youths, Leave No Trace Ireland in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government created an outdoor ethics curriculum specifically for young audiences. The Leave No Trace Ireland schools programme is a curriculum intended to promote sustainable use of the Irish countryside. It is based on the seven principles of Leave No Trace.
Lessons are designed to be interactive and are a fun way to teach and learn about how to behave in the outdoors. All lesson plans are linked to the primary level curriculum in the Republic of Ireland and offer teachers original and effective models for achieving learning objectives.
